Have you ever thought about what goes on behind the scenes of a wedding on the actual day? If you don’t have a wedding planner and it’s your first time planning a wedding, you really need to see this. We have consolidated many actual day itineraries from real weddings and came out with the ULTIMATE WEDDING ITINERARY for you, consisting of various scenarios; be it a simple lunch/dinner + ROM, or the full shebang of gatecrashing + religious ceremony (ROM) + tea ceremony + dinner.

Just Lunch + Tea Ceremony + ROM


6am – MUA arrives for Hair & Make up starts working on entourage


7am – MUA works on Bride’s make up


7:30am – Photographer arrives to take pictures of venue set up and Bride and Groom’s getting ready shots


8:30am-10pm – Groom picks up Bride for tea ceremony


10:00am – Head to venue for wedding lunch reception and solemnisation


10:30am-11am – Final checks with relevant vendors and venue manager


11am-12pm –Solemniser arrives, start of solemnisation ceremony


12pm – Canapes and cocktails


12:30pm – 4:00pm – Lunch


Just Dinner + Tea Ceremony + ROM


1pm – MUA arrives for hair & make up starts working on entourage


2pm – MUA works on Bride’s make up


3:30pm – Photographer arrives to take pictures of home set up and Bride and Groom’s getting ready shots.


4pm – 5:30pm – Groom picks up bride for tea ceremony (give tea ceremony at least 1hr if family is big)


5:30pm-6pm – Everyone head to dinner reception venue


6pm-6:30pm – Final checks with relevant vendors and venue manager


6:30pm – Solemniser arrives, start of solemnisation ceremony. Photo taking with family


7pm – 7:30pm – Cocktails and canapés


7:30pm – 10:30pm – Dinner reception


Religious Ceremony + Lunch + Tea Ceremony


5:30am – Everyone to wake up and be at bride’s house for hair & make up


6:00am – MUA arrives for hair & make up starts working on entourage


6:30am – MUA works on Bride’s make up. Photographer arrives around 7:00am to take pictures of the family and bride’s getting ready shots.


8:30am – Get ready to leave for venue


9am – Arrive at venue


10am-11am – Religious service


11am-12pm – Photo taking and reception refreshments


11:30am-12pm – Tea ceremony (assuming no travel time is required and it’s done at the religious venue)


12pm – Head over to lunch venue


12:30pm – 4:00pm – Lunch


Religious Ceremony + Dinner + Tea Ceremony


5:30am – Everyone to wake up and be at bride’s house for hair & make up


6:00am – MUA arrives for hair & Make up starts working on entourage


6:30am – MUA works on Bride’s make up. Photographer arrives around 7:00am to take pictures of the family and bride’s getting ready shots


8:30am – Get ready to leave for venue


9am – Arrive at venue


10am-11am – Religious service


11am-11:30am – Photo taking


11:30am-12pm- Reception refreshments


12:30pm – 2pm – Tea ceremony (assuming travel time is required)


3pm – MUA arrives for hair & make up (touch up) starts working on entourage


3:30pm – MUA works on Bride’s make up touch up/second look


5:30pm – If no other organising responsibilities, bride and groom can have a mini photoshoot around the area + sunset shots. You can also have your 2nd make up done at this point.


7pm – Cocktails and canapes


7:30pm – 10:30pm – Dinner


Gatecrashing + Tea Ceremony + Dinner + ROM


4am – Everyone wakes up and already at Bride’s house


4:30am – MUA arrives for hair & make up starts working on entourage (bridesmaid+family)


5:30am – MUA works on Bride’s make up. Photographer arrives around 5am to take pictures of the family and bride’s getting ready shots. Bridesmaids to prepare for gatecrashing games.


6:30am – Groomsmen arrive at groom’s house. Everyone to get dressed and be ready with a debrief.


7am – Photographer and videographer arrives at grooms house


7:30am – Groom’s entourage leaves for bride’s house


8am-9am – Gate crashing


9am-12pm – tea ceremony for both houses if necessary (30min travel time + 1 hour tea ceremony per house)


12pm-2pm – OTOT. You may choose to rest, or go for a mini photoshoot. You may also take this opportunity to have a small lunch reception buffet for the family and friends.


2pm-3pm – Head over to dinner reception venue (if hotel, you can check in, otherwise this part doesn’t apply)


3pm – MUA arrives for Hair & Make up (touch up) starts working on Entourage


3:30pm – MUA works on Bride’s make up touch up/second look


5:00pm – If you’re not doing a mini photoshoot before this, photographer/videographer arrives for part 2 of the day.


5:30pm-6pm – Solemniser arrives, start of solemnisation ceremony


6pm-7pm – Photo taking with family and final checks with relevant vendors and venue manager


7pm – Cocktails and canapes


7:30pm-10:30pm – Dinner


Gatecrashing + Tea Ceremony + Lunch + ROM


4am – Everyone wakes up and already at bride’s house


4:30am – MUA arrives for Hair & Make up starts working on Entourage (bridesmaid+family)


5:30am – MUA works on Bride’s make up. Photographer arrives around 5am to take pictures of the family and bride’s getting ready shots. Bridesmaids to prepare for gatecrashing games.


6:30am – Groomsmen arrive at groom’s house. Everyone to get dressed and be ready with a debrief.


7am – Photographer and videographer arrives at grooms house (if required)


7:30am – Groom’s entourage leaves for bride’s house


8am-9am – Gate crashing


9am-11Am – tea ceremony for both houses if necessary (30min travel time + 30min tea ceremony per house + 30min extra buffer)


11:30pm-4pm – Solemniser arrives, start of solemnisation ceremony, followed by Lunch
